Kennel Management is a key component to a successful training business, regardless of whether you have one or thirty Board & Train dogs.
Students will acquire all of the basic knowledge to begin their Board & Train program as well as expanding their business to including boarding or basic grooming services for their customers, should they choose to do so.
Students will learn proper procedures for feeding, medicating, basic grooming of dogs, sanitization, maintenance of kennels, detection and treatment of parasites, and keeping dogs safe and healthy while in their care.
Students will also learn how to start their own business, sell their product, advertise, and customer relations.
Upon completion of this course, you will be ready to open your door for business.
